LiquidPiston, Inc. has conceptualized a new patent pending internal combustion engine architecture,
which promises to drastically improve fuel efficiency and power density compared to existing engines.
Our engine may run as efficient as fuel cells hope to be, but at a fraction of the cost - potentially
cheaper than conventional engine technology, if produced in the same quantity.
The LiquidPiston technology is inherently scalable from powering lawnmowers to locomotives, providing a
platform suitable for any segment of the $250 billion combustion engine market.
LiquidPiston recently announced that it closed its first venture capital
investment round with Adams Capital Management and Northwater
Capital. These funds will be used to construct
a working prototype High Efficiency Hybrid Cycle Engine. If the prototype
achieves its target performance goals, the company will be seeking additional
investment in 18 to 24 months to move into production.
