Mr. Richards served as CEO and co-owner of Engine Control Systems Limited from 2006-2009. Engine Control Systems is a leading environmental application engineering company and manufacturer of a full range of verified engine exhaust emissions control solutions. From 1996-2006, Edward served at The Lubrizol Corporation as Division President for their Engine Control Systems business. From 1985-1996, Edward worked across the corporation in a variety of marketing, business and commercial development roles including multiple international assignments. The Lubrizol Corporation is a $4.5 billion innovative specialty chemical company that produces and supplies technologies that improve the quality and performance of customers products in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets.
Edward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and is an active member of the American Marketing Association, the American Chemical Society, the Society of Automotive Engineers, ChemPharma, Earth Day Coalition, and serves on the executive committee of the Mining Diesel Emissions Council. His subject matter expertise is in collaborative, stakeholder-development of practical solutions for addressing air quality and energy utilization as well as related environmental, health and safety issues. Edward has lived in Canada, the United Kingdom and the USA, and has extensive business experience in North America, Europe, Asia and former Soviet Union countries.
